# About Sendix

Sendix is a compliance checker for education and support plans, built for the people who have to deliver them: SENCOs in mainstream and special schools, FE colleges, multi-academy trusts and councils in England and Scotland.

An EHCP can have every section filled in and still fail the child it was written for. Provision described as "appropriate support, as required" may be too vague to hold anyone to, and a target that says a child will "make progress over time" cannot be measured. Sendix reads each EHCP against the law it is written under, explains each problem with its basis, drafts a rewrite from evidence already in the file, and exports the agreed Section F changes as a Word amendment with tracked changes for the council. In Scotland it flags Child's Plans against GIRFEC practice guidance for a practitioner to resolve; Co-ordinated Support Plan review is in validation. A professional decides every change; Sendix does the reading and the drafting.
